Medicine and physiotherapy do different jobs

They are not either-or. Here is how they differ.

Pain relief medicine Physiotherapy
What it does Eases pain for a few hours at a time Works on the movement, strength and posture behind the problem
Who guides it Your doctor A qualified physiotherapist, after assessing you
Useful for Short-term relief, taken as prescribed Rebuilding movement and strength over a few weeks

Many people use both. Please don't stop or change any medicine your doctor prescribed without asking them first. This is general information, not medical advice.
